Delete your Vellen account

This page allows Vellen users to request deletion of their account and associated personal data without reinstalling or opening the app.

Request deletion from the web

Send the request from the same email address registered to your Vellen account. This is necessary so we can verify that the request was made by the account owner.

1. Use the button below to open an email addressed to Vellen Support.
2. Keep the subject line as Vellen Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your Vellen username, if available.
4. State clearly that you want your Vellen account and associated personal data deleted.

Data deleted with the account

• Firebase Authentication account and Vellen user profile
• Profile photo and user-uploaded account content
• Birth and astrology profile information linked to the account
• Chat messages and user-uploaded chat attachments
• Favorites, notification preferences and support records
• User reviews and other directly associated personal data

Information that may be retained

Limited transaction, tax, anti-fraud, security, chargeback or dispute records may be retained when required by applicable law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. Where possible, completed advisor-session accounting records are de-identified and no longer identify the deleted user.

Processing time

In-app deletion is automated. Requests submitted by email are processed after account ownership is verified and are normally completed within 30 days, unless a longer period is legally required.

Important subscription notice

Deleting a Vellen account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must also be cancelled through the relevant store account settings.

Advisor accounts may require a separate closure review because payout, tax and accounting records can be subject to mandatory retention obligations.
